Demo & Dine Exclusive with Boulevard Kitchen's Award-Winning Chef Alex Chen
The Dirty Apron is very excited to welcome Alex Chen, Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar Executive Chef. Chef Alex Chen's impressive resume includes some of the most acclaimed hotel properties across North America, including the world-renowned Beverly Hills Hotel and Polo Lounge and Four Season Hotels in Toronto and Chicago. As classically trained chef with a true taste for high-pressure culinary competitions, Chef Alex lead his team to Gold at the 2018 Canadian Culinary Championships and was recently awarded Vancouver Magazine’s Chef of the Year 2018.
No aprons will be dirtied or needed in this demonstration-style cooking class - Chef Chen will prepare a delicious and innovative four course tasting meal right in front of you as you sit back, relax and learn through watching, listening and tasting. Taking you through each course step-by-step, Chef Chen will share his tips, tricks and tools of the trade and then serve each demonstrated dish alongside a glass of wine.

Salmon Tartar, Chive oil, Crème Fraiche, Fingerling Potato Chips; Hamachi, shaved-vegetable “Crudités”, Yuzu vinaigrette; Slow-roasted Duck Breast, Pea "Risotto", shaved Asparagus salad; Apple Tarte Tatin
