Prices
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Prices are subject to change.

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers for the Dirty Apron Cooking School are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Vouchers are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. Valid vouchers issued for specific classes (e.g. 4 Hour Hands-On Cooking Class) will be exempt from any price increases when redeemed for the intended class. Gift vouchers may be used toward alternative classes of a different value; however, this transfer may be subject to pricing increases.. Gift vouchers not used for the specified class are valued at the dollar amount credited to the voucher upon purchase.

Cancellation policy
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your class, we would appreciate advance notice. Guests who provide notice 30 days (or more) prior to the booked class will be exempt from cancellation fees. Cancellations and reschedules made between 7-29 days prior to the booked class are subject to forfeiting 25% of the full fee. Likewise, cancellations and reschedules made 3-6 days prior to the booked class will forfeit 50% of the full fee. For no-shows and cancellations within 72 hours of the booked class, the full course fee will be forfeited.

All refunds will be issued as credits; we do not offer cash refunds. In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel published classes. Customers whose bookings are affected will be transferred to a suitable alternative.

Maximum booking size
We can not take bookings of more than 8 people on a published class. For bookings of 9 or more people please vists the Group Events section for further information.

Attendance of Minors
We offer kids & teens cooking camps for 7-11year olds and 12-17 year olds. To attend these classes we will need an agreement form signed by the participants parent or guardian.
For our standard hands-on cooking classes attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. The school must be advised in advance of minors in attendance.

Dietary Restrictions
Where possible, our chefs will accommodate dietary constraints. As a courtesy we ask that you alert our staff of allergies and dietary restrictions upon booking OR 7 days prior to the booked class. Allergies are the responsibility of the attendee and not of the Dirty Apron Cooking School. We are unable to take responsibility for allergic reactions to foodstuffs. Food prepared both on and off site may contain traces of nuts.

Delivery
All class bookings and voucher bookings will be confirmed and sent as e-vouchers unless requested to be delivered by mail. Delivery times depend on the service requested and paid for. In most instances, standard delivery for gift vouchers and confirmation of class bookings within BC will be within 3 working days. For Canadian orders outside of BC please allow 5 working days. For orders outside of Canada please allow 7-10 working days. Orders containing non-voucher items or gift wrapped items will be delivered by courier.

Return/ refund policy
Full refunds on merchandise purchases will be issued within 7 days of the initial purchase. To receive a full refund you may notify the Dirty Apron Cooking School by telephone or e-mail. Return postage expense is not the responsibility of the Dirty Apron Cooking School.

Purchases pertaining to class bookings, gift vouchers and fresh food are exempt from the regulations outlined above.

Claims of breakage or other specified damage must be made in writing or by e-mail within 7 days of receipt.

Taxation and Duties
As the Dirty Apron Cooking School is operated out of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, all listed prices will be subject to Harmonised Sales Tax (HST) where relevant. HST applies to all purchases made within and outside the province of British Columbia, Canada.
