Chambar & Medina
The Dirty Apron Cooking School is proudly located on the same block as our sister restaurants Chambar and Café Medina.
Chambar invites you to leave your day at the door for an unpretentious fling with fine dining. The restaurant maintains a strong commitment to warm professional service, but makes no bones about the raucous atmosphere. Chambar in French loosely translates to: “When the teacher leaves the room, all the kids go crazy.”
Chambar offers a unique pairing of Belgian and North African
influences. Wherever possible, organic and local ingredients
are combined to create fantastic food that reflects the seasons.
The menu is a diverse offering of appetizers, moule frite, and
main courses of lamb, duck, and venison. A variety of Belgian
beers are also available, and can be paired with any item on
the menu.

Medina prides itself on serving delicious espresso-based drinks
that appeal to even the most discerning palates. Extensive
research has resulted in the finest equipment, talented,
enthusiastic baristas and organic 49th Parallel espresso. Serving
more than just the classics, the baristas have collaborated with
Pastry Chef Eleanor Chow to serve innovative delights—for
example, milk chocolate lavender mochas—enhanced with
quality pure Belgian chocolates and house made syrups.
Named after the second holiest city next to Mecca, meaning vibrant, radiant city, this little room is one of the
city`s most stylish additions. Designed by co-owner Karri Schuermans, Medina was conceived with the purpose
of doubling as a high-end private dining room in the evening. Outfitted using green building materials including
an exceptional recycled glass bar top and palm wood paneling Medina has all the makings for a stylish, warm,
modern bistro café.
